物件の表題 Title of Discovery: The heaven stairway

物件の状況（形質・その他） Condition of Instance (notable traits, context, etc.): It appeared to me first as beautiful object, even if it’s a simple reinforced concrete stairway. Was it part of an ancient building ? Why would someone keep a stairway as a monument ? And especially as an isolated item ? A heavy-handed allusion of a stairway to heaven… ? Whatever it be, this object raises questions… You can find it on the Winston Churchill avenue, next to the UGC “ciné-cité”. The stairway used to be a pedestrian access to the former W.Churchill road bridge, that was turned down in 2006 because of the tramway expansion. The stairway remained as a memory.
